Auld Post Office Museum and Session Cottage
(Turriff and District Heritage Society)

The Auld Post Office Museum at 24 High Street houses Town Council memorabilia, Turra Coo artefacts,old Turriff photographs and temporary exhibitions.
The robes and regalia of Turriff Town Council, which was disbanded in 1975, are on display.

The Session Cottage on Castle Street is a charming 18th century but'n'ben, reflecting life 100 years ago.

Opening Hours for both museums:

During the winter months, the Turriff Heritage Society is open on Friday and Saturday mornings from 10am until 12 noon.  Please contact the Society if you wish to visit outwith these hours.

There is disabled access at Auld Post Office Museum. We are often working in the Auld Post Office, so if you see an open door, please come in. A warm welcome awaits you.

10am – 12pm all year.
Other hours:
May Day: 10am – 4pm
July and August: Tuesday – Friday: 2pm - 4pm
