Based in the heart of historic Banff town centre at 18 Castle Street, The Green Tree is firmly rooted in the local community. The coffee house and restaurant is run as a social enterprise by Banff and Macduff Community Trust, with profits being used to support the work of the Trust in making the towns better places in which to live, work and visit.
The Green Tree is a lively and buzzing venue where you will always receive a warm welcome from staff and where you can expect to be tempted by a mouthwatering menu. With comfy seating and large floor to ceiling windows, The Green Tree offers the perfect spot to sit and watch life go by.
Our highly skilled chefs are committed to using the finest quality ingredients and with a bountiful larder of exceptional produce on our door step, we source our ingredients locally wherever possible. We have all-day snacks, a lunch and evening menu, as well as a feast of scrumptious homebakes. The Green Tree prides itself on its excellent coffee, which as well as being organic and Fairtrade, is also Rainforest Alliance certified.
The Green Tree also has a takeaway counter serving sandwiches and other snacks made to order - our picnic boxes are fantastic to take with you on a day out exploring! The takeaway also shares its space with a community hub, which features public access computers. There is also free Wi-Fi throughout the building.
