Durn House is a lovingly restored 18th Century Georgian Mansion House steeped in Scottish History. Here you will not get the usual reception, or standard service, at Durn House we aim to exceed our guests expectations and provide a fantastic experience in a glorious setting, but also ensure that everyione that stays with us feel very much at home.
Durn House is so much more that a B & B or Guest House. There are seven individually styled guest suites and each one has been photographed so you can see what you are getting in advance via our website. There are several public rooms to relax in, plus the fantastic Gentleman's Club where you can play a game of pool, watch the television or listen to music. New from April 2012 is the new treatment room which is a full size hair dressing salon plus a beauty treatment room for some special pampering.There is also off road parking where you can leave the car and take a stroll down to Portsoy's historic old harbour for some breathtaking coastal walks.
The food at Durn House is Artisan in style using fresh local quality produce, breakfasts incluse fresh fruit and home-made preserves, plus home made-bread and the famous Durn House Spinach Muffins.
Located down a private lane by a small stream, Durn House is the perfect getaway, but close enought to all that North East Scotland has to offer.
