Fife Lodge Hotel, Banff
The family run Fife Lodge Hotel is located in the Historic Royal Burgh of Banff on the Moray Firth Coast. Set in its own private grounds, the hotel has nine comfortable bedrooms. The spacious family rooms are ideal for short breaks.
The Hotel offers a choice of accommodation. All bedrooms in the main hotel are en-suite. For families some of our spacious rooms can accommodate up to four persons. Alternatively the Hotel Apartment offers a double room. a triple bedroom, private shower toilet and a lounge.
The hotel offers a choice of dining, whether in the Lounge Bar or the Montcoffer Room. Only the freshest of local ingredients are used in our menus for Morning Coffees, Afternoon Teas, Lunches, Evening Meals and Dinners. Private Dinner Parties, Meetings, Training Courses and Seminars can easily be accommodated within the various public rooms and Braco Suite.
The Fife Lodge can cater for all types of conferences, seminars and training events. Small rooms are available for one to one meetings, larger rooms for groups of up to 20, 50 or more. The Princess Louise Ballroom can accommodate up to 250 guests for formal functions and up to 400 for parties and charity events.
The Fife Lodge Hotel is the perfect venue for large and small weddings. The hotel holds the necessary licences for Civil and Religious marriage ceremonies. The Fife Lodge Hotel Ballroom can cater for wedding receptions from 50 to 250 guests and up to a further 50 for the evening dance. The hotel is set in its own grounds and there is ample parking for guest cars and easy access for buses taking guests to and from the wedding.
Guests staying at the hotel will find plenty to do. A few minutes walk will take you to Banff town centre, Duff House Country House Gallery, Princess Royal Sport Trust, the River Deveron and Banff Harbour. The surrounding area offers an unrivalled variety of castles, fishing villages, heritage centres, distilleries, country and coastal walks.
Locally there are several golf courses, including Duff House Royal Golf Club which was redesigned by Dr. Alister Mackenzie, who later went on to design the world famous Augusta National golf course.
For the younger ones there is an adventure playground at the nearby links. Whilst the children play, watch the dolphins swim by in the bay. In Macduff you will find Macduff bowling alley, Macduff Marine Aquarium and Royal Tarlair Golf Club.
