The Knowes Hotel has been newly refurbished to offer comfortable accommodation in a convenient location with spectacular panoramic views across the Moray Firth. Excellent golf and fishing facilities are available on the doorstep, with the River Deveron being less than a mile from the hotel.
Located in the heart of Macduff in an elevated location, The Knowes Hotel is a small family run hotel offering a warm Scottish welcome with breathtaking views over the Moray Firth coast to the Caithness coastline.
The North-east embodies much of what Scotland is famous for. Indeed, abounding scenery, historical castles, whisky trails and a fantastic array of Scottish golf courses are all in this region.
The hotel has five rooms (one single, three doubles and one twin) all of which have recently been refurbished to a high standard. We offer bar and restaurant meals (bar seven days a week, restaurant Wednesday through Sunday) and have a conservatory and beer terrace; all with stunning views across the Firth.
