Beggars Belief Coffee and Tea Shop, Portsoy
Besides the delicious coffees, speciality teas and local produce Beggars Belief serves in the quirky and cosy atmosphere of this little shop, it is also the venue for a folk music gathering on the first Sunday of every month. Everybody is welcome to join in or simply relax and enjoy listening to our talented musicians, poets and story tellers.
Situated right beside Porsoy's 17th century harbour, the building itself once belonged to an 18th century merchant and smuggler, and it is said some of his contraband goods still remain hidden in the deep walls and stone floors. With a picturesque courtyard, it is also the perfect place for photographic opportunities as well as making an ideal stop for cyclists, bikers, hikers and dog walkers, sailors and pirates.
