Historic Scotland to take over running of Duff House
The management of Duff House will be transferred to Historic Scotland, who will also become responsible for the 25 staff. Since 1992, Duff House has been run as a partnership by Aberdeenshire Council, Historic Scotland and the National Galleries of Scotland. Duff House had been threatened with closure over the winter months; however, it is hoped that this move will be the best way of securing and developing Duff House in the future.
