Macduff

Adjacent to Banff with only the river Deveron separating them, Macduff retains its own character based on its shipbuilding and fishing industries. It is home to the only remaining commercial wooden ship building yard in Europe.

In recent years the town has gained recognition for its excellent Marine Aquarium which is one of the top visitor attractions in the North East in terms of popularity.
